Prior to joining Pharmacy Investigators and Consultants, Eric was a pharmacy technician, Store Support Agent, for HEB Pharmacy where he would receive calls from pharmacy store locations with questions on troubleshooting Pharmacy system (RxEVO) errors, resolve 3rd party processing issues (Medicare B, immunizations, 3rd party rejections, prior authorizations, etc.), SOP’s and PDP’s, recalls, returns, NDC Edits, etc. and assisted with training of new partners into the department.
Eric was also a HEB Field Auditor where he was responsible for all on-site and desk insurance audits for all 200+ HEB Pharmacy location, analyzed prescription data to verify that HEB correctly submitted all aspects of a valid prescription and met with external insurance auditors at store locations and provided the requested documentation at the time of audit. Eric has over 23 years’ experience at HEB Pharmacy.
Eric graduated in Aug. 2001 from the San Antonio College of Medical and Dental Assistants. He is a licensed and Certified Pharmacy Technician in the State of Texas.
