Heather is the Clinical Pharmacist who provides pharmacy management and oversight to all PIC clients. In her role as clinical consultant, Heather responds to questions from clients and staff regarding new drug therapies and emerging pharmacological technologies. She also assists in the implementation of new FWA clients and projects, providing insight for the audit team regarding drug therapies, laws, and regulations.
Heather has nearly 20 years of experience in the field of pharmacy. She worked as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in the retail setting for several years before transitioning to working in hospital pharmacies. During clinical rotations, she spent time in both retail and hospital settings, as well as ambulatory care and long-term care pharmacies. She is currently a licensed pharmacist in the state of Illinois and is pursuing a second license in the state of Wisconsin.
Heather is a Roosevelt University alum three times over. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Roosevelt University: College of Arts and Sciences in 2018. She graduated from Roosevelt University: College of Pharmacy with her PharmD in 2021. In 2022, she earned her Master of Business Administration from Roosevelt University: Walter E. Heller College of Business. She is currently finishing her HEAL Certificate for Healthcare Ethics and Analytics from Roosevelt University: College of Science, Health and Pharmacy.
