In The News: Part 2 – Fox 8 New Orleans turns to Susan for Drug Fraud Info

New Orleans Fox 8 continued its series on prescription drug fraud where patients are charged more than pharmacies’ reimbursement by one of the leading health insurers in the country, United Health Care.  This practice serves to increase costs to patients and, instead of being passed back to pharmacies, is being retained to bolster profits of the insurer and its PBM, OptumRx.  Susan is featured discussing United Health Care’s admission that something isn’t right with its practices, although these practices continue and will continue until this practice is stopped through legislation to protect consumers.
