Mike has fifteen years of professional experience in retail pharmacy management. Mike is the lead consultant in all Pharmacy Outcomes Specialists’ desk audits and coordinates the review and audit of claims with all pharmacy chains and independent pharmacies, as well as retail and mail order pharmacies for POS’ clients interested in taking an aggressive approach to Fraud, Waste and Abuse.
Most recently, Mike worked for Walgreen’s as a pharmacy technician. In this role, Mike prepared and packaged medications, effectively communicated with health professionals to ensure the accuracy of medication and pharmacy records and interacted with managed health care organizations to assist patients in medication dispensing. In addition, Mike also assumed management responsibilities as a store manager. Mike learned a broad and comprehensive knowledge of company operations, how to efficiently evaluate and interpret sales trends, and ways to ensure an accurate inventory was perpetually available. Mike’s degree in Human Resource Management brings an excellent client perspective to Pharmacy Outcomes Specialists’ projects.
Mike has exceptional communication skills and is an integral team member. His analytical problem solving skills, combined with his experience as a collegiate sports team captain, make Mike an excellent team member for Pharmacy Outcomes Specialists’ multi-disciplinary team approach to projects.
Mike graduated from Wisconsin’s Concordia University with a degree in Human Resources Management. He also holds both a PHR and SPHR certification. Mike serves his community via volunteer work, such as coaching soccer teams year-round. He also helps others by organizing youth trips, athletic challenges and supervising competitive games for children.
