Dr. Jay Bogdan is a registered pharmacist in Illinois and is admitted as an attorney to the Illinois Bar Association. He is an attorney practicing in healthcare and drug/pharmacy law. Dr. Bogdan has had the opportunity to utilize his healthcare and legal knowledge to advocate on behalf of a diverse range of clientele. This includes handling matters with respect to regulatory compliance, transactions and dispute resolution, among others, all in connection with healthcare law.
Dr. Bogdan began his higher education at The University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy where he earned his Doctor of Pharmacy. From there, he enrolled in night school at The John Marshall School of Law in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Bogdan is a Board member of the Illinois Pharmacist Association. He has a private law practice where he represents all types of health care providers to their respective State boards. He also represents clients in FDA, DEA, HIPPA, 340B Programs Office of Inspector General, provider audits, and state Medicaid matters. Dr. Bogdan also provides consultation services to many different healthcare providers including hospitals, pharmacies and physician offices. He has worked as an attorney within many different settings including governmental, private and corporate practices. All three of these areas have provided him with extensive knowledge and expertise in many different areas of healthcare law. He is an Associate Professor at three different Colleges of Pharmacy where he specializes in Pharmacy and Public Health Law education.
Dr. Bogdan was born and raised and currently resides in the Chicago-land area.
